The Audit Innovation Graduate Programme at PwC is a two-year fixed-term opportunity designed to equip graduates with advanced skills and hands-on experience in transforming the audit process through technology and innovation. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, this programme offers exposure to cutting-edge tools, artificial intelligence applications, and automated workflows that enhance audit quality and efficiency. Graduates will collaborate closely with audit teams to design dashboards, streamline data processes, and identify actionable insights, while also providing training to associates on digital tools. This role is ideal for graduates with a passion for innovation, technology, and audit optimisation, preparing them for future careers in audit, data analytics, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver dashboards to provide audit teams with deeper insights into client businesses
• Develop and implement automated workflows to streamline data processes and improve efficiency
• Explore and apply artificial intelligence use cases within audit environments
• Upskill in PwC’s latest technology tools to identify opportunities for audit optimisation
• Collaborate with audit teams to identify efficiencies and actionable insights
• Provide training and guidance to audit associates on key technologies to foster digital enablement

Qualifications

• Completed undergraduate and/or honours degree in Computer Science, Data Science, BCom IT, or Information Systems
• A keen interest in building efficiencies and innovating current processes
• Strong learning mindset with adaptability to new technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Capability to work autonomously while contributing effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx, or Power Automate is beneficial
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
